About Us
Forestry Journal was launched at the APF Exhibition in September 1994, under the title Forest Machine Journal. In 2008, following the purchase of another title, Forestry and British Timber, the name was changed to Forestry Journal. This better reflected the broader, more diverse content of the magazine.
Published monthly, Forestry Journal is an independent, subscription-only magazine serving the entire forest industry. It has grown considerably since its initial launch and is now the magazine of choice of many working in the industry. Our reader base is as diverse as our content and includes hands-on machinery users, decision makers within organisations, large estates and landowners, major sole traders and limited companies.
The common factor is that all these readers are engaged in the forest industry in one way or another - whether it be in harvesting, processing, regeneration, haulage or biomass.
essentialARB was added to our package in 2008, folllowing the purchase of Forestry and British Timber magazine.
Published quarterly, essentialARB is aimed at, and widely read by, those engaged in arboriculture and tree care - tree surgeons, utility arborists, tree officers and consultants.
